That’s right! Filipinos can fly to several countries without having to go through the hassles of filling up forms, setting appointments and lining-up embassies to get a tourist visa before departure. Well, not to the more popular countries such as Japan, United States, Canada and Australia yet, but there are other countries that we can visit, and all we need are our passport, a plane ticket, a reasonable amount of pocket money plus a well-planned itinerary and we’re good to go. So if you’re a Philippine passport holder who loves to travel and are wondering where to go next, here’s is a list of countries (arranged alphabetically for your convenience) that do not require a visa prior to your arrival. Please note however that immigration laws may change so I have included a link to tourist visa information in each of the countries that you may click for updates. I’ve also added a tourism website in each of these destinations as a starting point.

Nice and useful post po! I was trying to look at India na wala rin visa requirements but visa upon arrival for Filipinos lang din po. hehe
Thanks Doc Wends! I have already added India. There are still other countries that may be included in the list but I would still need to do more research to make sure that the list is accurate 🙂
We could also add Tblisi, Georgia visa on arrival. Azerbaijan already stop issuing visa on arrival, pre arranged visa already required.
Filipinos needs visa in UAE :)) kelan kaya maging free
hmmm..maybe not in our lifetime 🙁

Sana lahat sakop ng CebuPac tapos laging may piso fare lalo na papuntang North America at Peru!
going international, eh?
I would love to go to Nepal and all the African countries in the list *singing “Wish ko lang…”* haha!
My boyfriend and I plan to travel to Thailand, Vietnam and Malaysia.
And stay in each country up to my maximum days allowed without VISA.
Question:
1) What documents I will be needing so I’ll gonna have NO problem when passing immigration?
2) Do I need return ticket still to Philippines even if I dont exactly now the date of my return?
3) Do I need lumpsum of amount in a bank account? how much should i have?
4) Do I need TRANSIT VISA? Where should I get it? And when I will need that?
I hope you will gonna answer my questions as this bothers me now and I’m booked to Thailand already (however only turn ticket). Thank you so much ahead.
Hi Rabbit,
As per your inquiry I could give you little advice and here it goes.
1. if your travelling in these countries, no need for transit visa, an out going airline ticket is necessary that will serve as a proof that your still coming back to your home country.
2. Credit card is a must if you don’t have cash with you,
For further inquiries you may ask the embassy of above mentioned countries to have full details.
Hope for your enjoyable vacation
I’m so dumb, I just learned from your post that Brazil is visa free. Such a good news. Thanks for the post. 🙂
Sri Lanka requires a visa, you can apply for it online and pay $20 via credit card. They changed the rules effective May 2012. I was there last week. 🙂
