Don’t bother using the phone for services. They probably won’t answer or respond until the next day. No food allowed to bring in, so that leaves the restaurant. Be prepared to wait at least an hour for overpriced Max’s restaurant food. You want their specialty chicken? One hour. You want a chicken burger? One hour or more. Guest Reviews: At first I was quite apprehensive to try this place out – no reviews, no feedback, not much social media presence. Made a few calls and made some arrangements. I was even more skeptical as there were a lot of conditions and some of my requests were not really met – however, upon my arrival at the site every little doubt I had was dispelled. i was met on site by the co-owner, Nora, and her husband, John, and everything from that point in was a breeze. The rooms aren’t 5-star hotel type rooms, but they are squeaky-clean, wonderful mattress (best one I’ve seen outside of a Marriott), adequate for almost all amenities except cable (but who needs tv anyways when you’re supposed to be out in the sun), and they have food – good food. Guest Reviews: The sand on this beach is fine and nice to the touch. It is best to come here whilst there are still few people coming. What’s good about this place is you can cook your own food, bring drinks as the cottage comes with it’s own fridge, nice and cozy beds, clean toilets and baths. The water is shallow so if you just wish to move and wade around the water, this beach would be good for you. Lots of activities to do here too for groupies–boat riding, fish feeding, snorkeling, banana boat riding, speed boat riding. Guest Reviews: We had an overnight stay here and my kids enjoyed every part of the resort. It has a lot to offer other than swimming and using the slides. There’s a zip line, wall climbing and basketball court. Even though you will be paying extra for the entrance fee (other resorts don’t require to pay entrance if you book for a room) it is still worth the price. The place is a selfie haven and the resort restaurant offer good food on cheap price. You can bring food and drinks on the resort without any corkage fees and this is a win win for guest. The resort is enormous and they are still expanding. Staffs are courteous and helpful. Just be ready for long walks and lots of stairs to climb and descend. They have 5 to 6 pools if im not mistaken that you can swim. The staff were really accomodating and they even guide you where to have a good spot to take pictures! We paid for only 1k for 16pax for the van, resort and foods! Shercon resort is a huge place so they have shuttle service that escort you where you want to go. Due the location there is always a nice breeze. The estate is impeccably kept and the staff took great care of us. The meals were delicious. We had the whole house to ourselves which was great. The pool is picture perfect till you get in the stairs are unmarked and the flooring and walls are so rough they cut you. There is 1 evelavator but not in use so be prepared to climb stairs. Food was terrible. Being a Filipina I am used to the food but even our traditional dishes failed horribly. There is NO CONSISTENCY in taste nor in prrssentation. Guest Reviews: This place is best for families. Although the pool is small and gets super deep since i think they use it for diving classes… we had a good time here. We cooked our own food. We were the only guests. We drank wine in the very cozy dining area until the wee hours of the night. The only bad thing here is that if you want to walk to the beach, it’s a pretty long walk. If you take the short cut, it’s not really great for old people. The beach during that time was also not good. the waves were too strong. Rooms were clean. Guest Reviews: Highly recommended to families and friends who long for that peaceful, relaxing and private sanctuary resort! Nayomi offers the tranquility and space just an hour and a half drive away from the Metro! I hope Nayomi would maintain that policy of not overcrowding the place, especially since there is only one pool, as of this writing, that guests can use. We truly enjoyed our stay since our group solely used the pool. The place is superbly clean, modern resort with a touch of that province-feel-like designs. Landscape is brilliant as well. Guest Reviews: So we decided to go on an over night trip to a near by beach. Somewhere beautiful, with powdery sand and no people. We found a place called Sunrise Cove. Indeed, it was special. The beach was nice and the area was secluded. It was good that we had read the reviews before we went here; they don’t serve food, you have to bring your own. I have to say that the room is not big enough but its all okay considering all other beach resorts in the area are fully booked. Our trip was not planned at all – this was spontaneous! The room is kind of old and dilapidated but well maintained by the staff. As the name connote, the hotel’s specialty is their tamarind ice tea which tasted pretty okay. Guest Reviews: If you are on a shoestring budget but would like to enjoy time at the beach, this is the place to be. Just do not expect hotel-like rooms and accommodations and the restaurants only serve Filipino food, however pretty good as we had our lunch here. The access to the beach is going down dozens upon dozens of steps, so if you have old people or people with bad knees or leg injuries, they will have a hard time getting to the beach from the parking area. The place being relatively inexpensive can get crowded during holidays and weekends despite the impressively long shoreline. The sand is a bit dark or black and the waters are relatively fine.
