The room is quite clean as expected on the hostel but check again for comfort because you will have people come and go, lights turn on and off. The bathroom is a common area and a self service, ask for tissue if all gone. There is no hot water in the shower and the door seems broken. Guest Reviews: It was more of a discovery that we booked this property. And it was a good discovery. It is situated at the southern end of Boracay well away from the noise and the crowds. Peaceful and quiet (except for occassional dogs barking and cat fights from the neighbors). And it is only a one minute walk away from beach. Staff are friendly and attentive. Breakfast is eggs, toast, fruits, and instant coffee. Not gonna fill you up and will perfectly leave room for an adventurous lunch. We got a fan room which was spacious, clean, and with a safety deposit box. The refrigerator is stocked with beverages. WiFi is excellent at the ground floor level. Guest Reviews: I can confirm the negative points mentioned in the previous review are still valid in February 2018 but I don’t agree with the rating. There is construction going on but it stops at night and does not start too early in the morning, so unless you’re planning to spend a lot time in your room during the day, this is not going to bother you much. It is also true that the staff is not very proactive but ask anything from them and they will be very eager to help. On the upside you get a very clean and spacious room, with working hot water and a large, comfortable bed which is only a ten minutes walk from Station 2 at 30$ a night during high season. Deals like that are very rare these days in Boracay. Breakfast was basic but good, offering a Filipino and American choice. Hotel is close to beach and shopping. My only concern was the stairs. From street to reception is a climb of steep stairs. I’m asthmatic and mid 60s so the stairs were a difficulty. In 2 minutes you can walk to the beach with a lot of bars/restaurants (station 3, which is less crowded than the other stations). The breakfast was good and you can order good food for lunch/dinner into your room. The room was spacious and clean and the staff really, really friendly. They helped us to arrange transfers and booked tours for us (I forgot my reef shoes on the boat and got them back the same day in the evening). When we arrived the A/C was not working but the hotel managed it within a few hours. Good value for the money and we would definitely stay there again. Lugar Bonita is exactly the way to relax and enjoy all the beauty the island had to offer. It was a well kept, restful and refreshing slice of the Mediterranean with white-washed walls and charming motifs placed throughout the hotel. The rooms had air conditioning and fans, good sized beds and very comfortable bedding. Floors and bathrooms super clean and I’m a stickler for these tow areas especially in my own home. Guest Reviews: I can say 357 Boracay is easily the best resort in Boracay if what you’re looking for is some quiet time enjoying the sun and the beach (if you’re looking for a party or a crowd maybe not so much). This was my second visit to 357 Boracay and both for the exact same reason and it wouldnt have been complete without this resort. I stayed at the ocean view suite (bigger of the two). The room was very spacious with a king size bed and it was kept clean throughout my stay. The room opens to a long balcony looking straight down the beach and I doubt you’ll find many rooms in Boracay that offer this uninterrupted view of the sea. First we arrived about 10:30 AM and as we had paid for transfers we were met by people at the port and they stayed with us all the way to the hotel. Just be aware that it is a pretty long walk to the beachfront hotels. You will want help with baggage. While check in is at 2:PM they had us a room ready by 11;AM and they upgraded us to a junior suite. The staff at the hotel were friendly and helpful. The hotel is clean the beds were comfortable it was good to have hot water for the first time in a few weeks. The restaurant at the hotel has good food and is comparably priced to other restaurants. Such a cute little quaint hotel. We enjoyed and in room massage which was just what we needed to make the most of this relaxing weekend getaway. I would highly recommend booking travel to the hotel from the airport through Villa Caemilla, it was absolutely seamless. Yes there is a bit of walking, about half a mile, and I would suggest to avoid rolling luggage if possible. But honestly I wouldn’t complain about the walk when you see where the hotel is. Guest Reviews: The service at this hotel is impeccable. We really felt at home throughout our 4 day stay. The location is just beside Regency, and Gerry’s Grill Station 2. Upon arrival, we were picked up promptly, and because they have an exclusive speedboat it only took us 5 mins to get to the hotel. Once there, we were pleased with our rooms and the amenities. The staff also set up beach mats for us when we were hanging out by the sand. The swimming pool though is a bit murky and saw a yaya bathing a naked baby in the pool 😞 nevertheless, my kids enjoyed the game room, the unli ice cream and pop corn, and they also set up a birthday greeting in the room and gave cupcakes for my daughter.
